CAT 2020 Eligibility

IIM will define the eligibility criteria of CAT 2020. Before filling the application form of CAT 2020, all candidates must carefully check the eligibility criteria. Below mentioned eligibility criteria of CAT 2020 can be checked by candidates and should be considered before registration-
  • Educational Qualification: All candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from any recognised university or educational institute.
  • Minimum Marks Required: In Bachelor's degree a minimum of 50 per cent marks or equivalent CGPA will be mandatory for all candidates. 
  • Category Requirement: Candidates belonging to the reserved category {Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PWD)}, will be required to have minimum 45 percentage in Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from any recognised university or educational institute.
  • Appearing Candidates: The final year candidates who will be appearing in Bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification exam at the time of commencement of registration and those who have completed degree course but are awaiting results will be able to apply for CAT 2020.
  • Age Limit: To fill the application form of CAT 2020, authorities will not put any age limit/ age restriction.

CAT 2020 conducting IIM will tentatively start the registration process in the first week of August. Eligible candidates will be able to fill the application form tentatively till the third week of September. IIM also provide the facility to make corrections in the CAT 2020 application form even after final submission. Registration of CAT 2020 will be completed in a three-step process which will include- CAT 2020 registration, filling the required details and submission of application fee amount. On successful registration of CAT 2020, candidates will receive a User ID and Password which can be used for future login.

CAT 2020 Application Fee- After filling the application form, candidates will have to pay the required application fees. The fee for application will be accepted by IIM through Debit/Credit card/Net banking/BillDesk/PayU/Paytm.
