JEE Main 2020
Jee Main 2020 has been scheduled from July 18 - 23, 2020.
The announcement was made by HRD minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank
during a webinar on May 5. There is no clarity on the release of JEE MAIN admit card, yet, but it can be expected anytime after the third phase of the nationwide lockdown ends i.e. post - May 17, 2020.
Jee Main 2021 , MHRD will give preference to the regional languages of states with more number of applications in the last five years and is planning to add Marathi and Telugu as mediums for JEE Main.

JEE Main 2020 Eligibility
Candidates must be aware of the eligibility criteria as determined by NTA, to avoid any kind of last-minute chaos. The eligibility criteria for JEE Main 2020 is as follows:- Age Limit: JEE Main 2020 has no age bar. The candidates who have passed class 12th / equivalent examination in 2018, 2019 or appearing in 2020 irrespective of their age can appear in JEE Main 2020.
- Year of Passing Qualifying Examination: Students who passed their XII or equivalent exam in 2018, 2019 or appearing in 2020 are eligible for applying in JEE Main 2020. Candidates who passed Class 12th/Qualifying examination in 2017 or before as well as those who will appear in such examination in 2021 or later are not eligible to appear in JEE Main 2020.
- Subjects in Qualifying Examination: For B.E/ B. Tech, it is essential to have passed 12th /qualifying examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject. For B. Arch, it is essential to have passed qualifying examination with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry. For B. Planning, it is essential to have passed 12th /qualifying exam with Mathematics.
- Number of Attempts: Students can appear for the exam thrice, that too in consecutive years. Appearing for both the sessions in the same year will be counted as a single attempt.
JEE Main Application Form 2020
JEE MAIN Apllication form for candidates could be applied from February 7 – March 12, 2020. The application form had to be filled through online mode only. Candidates had to fill personal details, educational details, contact details, medium of language, choice of paper and exam center city.Around 9.34 lakh candidates have registered for JEE Main 2020 January session. 15, 247 more women registered this year in comparison to the last year. A total number of 81,413 registrations have been made from the EWS category, which was introduced this year.

JEE Main 2020 Result
The result for JEE Main 2020 January session has been declared on January 17, 2020. Result for JEE Main is released separately for B.E/B.Tech, B. Arch and B. Planning papers. The result can be downloaded from nta.ac.in. NTA will award students with percentile scores and not ranks. NTA uses Normalization Procedure in order to nullify the effects from varying difficulty level in question paper sets in different shifts.JEE Main 2020 Cut Off
JEE Main Cut Off will be released by NTA in online mode.JEE Main Result for January 2020 session has been declared. Qualifying Cut off and Admission Cut off are different for JEE Main 2020. Qualifying Cut off is the minimum score required to sit for JEE Advanced 2020. Admission Cut off is the merit list based on the cut off which is used for the counseling process. The cut off is based on various factors such as the difficulty level of the exam, number of appeared students, category of the candidate, cut off trend over the years and number of candidates applying for a particular course.The expected category wise qualifying cut off of JEE Main 2020 is as follows:
